Author Guidelines

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not currently under consideration by other journals.

  • All submissions must follow the JOMBA manuscript template.

  • Articles should be written in English using Times New Roman 12 pt, single-spaced, and on A4 paper without page numbering.

  • Use a passive voice and avoid personal pronouns (e.g., "I", "we", "our").

  • Quantitative numbers from 1 to 10 should be written in words (e.g., "five respondents", not "5 respondents").


2. Manuscript Structure

Title and Author Information

  • The title should be brief, specific, and relevant (maximum 15 words).

  • Author information includes full name, affiliation (department, institution, city, country), and email.

  • One author should be marked as the corresponding author.

Abstract and Keywords

  • The abstract must be written in one paragraph (approximately 150–250 words), covering:

    • Purpose of the study

    • Variables studied

    • Methods used

    • Population and sample

    • Key findings

  • Include 3–5 keywords separated by commas.

Introduction

  • Clearly state the background, existing problems, literature gap, and research objectives.

  • Explain relevant theories, past research, hypotheses, and the novelty of the study.

Theoretical Review

  • Present the grand theory, supporting theories for each variable, and relevant previous studies.

  • Describe the conceptual framework and hypotheses (if any).

  • At least 50% of references must come from journal articles, and not older than 7 years.

Methods

  • Explain the object and subject of research, variable operationalization, population and sampling method, and statistical techniques used.

Results

  • Present test results in a structured order: validity, reliability, stationarity, classical assumptions, t-test, F-test, R², etc., as relevant.

Discussion

  • Address the hypotheses and explain theoretical and practical implications.

  • Compare results with prior studies and explain the contribution to knowledge.

Conclusion

  • Summarize research findings and contributions.

  • Provide recommendations or suggestions for future studies.

Acknowledgements (if any)

  • Mention individuals or institutions that contributed to the study (funding, mentoring, etc.).

References

  • Use APA Style (7th edition) consistently.

  • All cited sources must appear in the reference list and vice versa.

  • Minimum 7 references are required.

3. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).

  • Titles should be placed above tables and below figures, centered.

  • Provide sources for tables/figures unless they are self-developed or from software output.

  • Do not use percentage symbols (%) — write them out (e.g., “twenty-five percent”).


4. Submission Format

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in .docx format.

  • Length of manuscript: 6–15 pages, including references and appendices.

  • All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed through a double-blind process.


5. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must adhere to publication ethics and avoid plagiarism, duplication, and conflicts of interest.
